• Responsible for handling,preparing and serving breakfast and lunch
• Must hold a Food Handlers Permit
• Use proper body mechanics and be able to lift a maximum of fort (40) pounds
• Must have First Aid and CPR cards
• Comply with the policies and procedures of the Grand Coulee Dam School District
• Have a positive attitude toward job, staff and students
• Conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner
• Respect the values of confidentiality and integrity
• Ability to work independently, be organized and use time effectively
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changing circumstances
• Show initiative, but also willing to take and follow direction
• Dress appropriately for a school setting
• Work cooperatively with others
• Work under the supervision of the head cook as well as the Assistant Principal and  Superintendent
• Perform general cleaning and sanitation duties
• Maintain accurate production records
• Work with the knowledge that errors may have serious consequences for staff and students and therefore accuracy is expected in the performance of duties
• All tasks will be performed following all state, local and federal regulations
• Pay is based on the current PSE agreement
• Hours are from 7:00am - 2:30pm/180 days
• Must pass a valid Washington State background check
